Only in America: 'Colorblind' teacher accused of racism by principal The principal of a Massachusetts high school accused one of her teachers of racism for saying teachers and students there are "colorblind." English teacher Janice Harvey had defended the urban school in a magazine column, saying there were no racial tensions there. Principal Lisa Dyer responded by asserting that "colorblindness suggests racism" because it denies students the right to "honor the beauty of their complexions."
